Professor Deepti Gurdasani, Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology at Queen Mary University of London spoke on the impacts of Covid-19 infection on children and the evidence on effective Covid mitigations for schools.
Nuzhat Uthmani is a primary school teacher and EIS rep based in Glasgow. She spoke about the reality in Scottish schools, covering the lack of mitigations, the impacts on teachers and educational disruption.
Finally, Helen Goss from Long Covid Kids Scotland told us about the impacts of Long Covid on children and their families.
