Solidarity with India and the fight for a People’s Vaccine

Last week at our campaign call we discussed the situation in India and the issue of global vaccine apartheid. Sarbjit Sohal from South Asia Solidarity suggested ways that activists here in the UK can support people in India.

On 11 May activists protested outside AstraZeneca’s Cambridge offices demanding action for a People’s Vaccine! There were also protests in Oxford (where the vaccine was developed) and in Macclesfield. We need to keep escalating until Boris Johnson stops blocking the TRIPS waiver (read about it here)!
